My husband Adam and I have been married for 9 years and took our vows at Crissy Field in San Francisco. We have been Vallejo Residents since 2014 when we fell in love with Vallejo’s beauty, history, diversity, and strong sense of community.

I received my Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration from Washington University, School of Medicine, in St. Louis Missouri in 2000. I immediately began my healthcare career with the Department of Veterans Affairs because of my strong alignment with its Mission, Values, and Beliefs and had a very gratifying career in public service for over 20 years. I worked managing the Business Office functions at several local VA Hospitals, ran the Enrollment and Eligibility Division at the Health Eligibility Center on a national level, and then finished my career as the Business Implementation Manager and Interim Chief Operating Officer for the Sierra Pacific Network (VISN 21). I currently work as the Chief Operating Officer for Jurney Veterinary Neurology, a boutique specialty animal hospital in San Francisco.

I have had civic involvement in Vallejo since I became a resident. I have previously served on the Beautification Commission, both as Vice Chair and as a Commissioner. Currently I serve on the Architectural, Heritage and Landmarks Commission as a Commissioner, and previously as a Vice Chair. Adam and I also currently host Cal Maritime Academy cadets through the Cadet-Community Connection program. I am also a member of both the Vallejo Choral Society and the Vallejo Rainbow Choir.

In my spare time I enjoy making stained glass and spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy the company of my two fur babies Uta & Ida, and our family pig named Chicharrones.
